[February 14, 2025]
We are very honored and pleased to have
received the Looking for Lincoln Heritage Grant. Not only will it
allow us to expand our town's local connection to Abraham Lincoln,
but it will help to preserve the history of the personal connection
as well.
The Atlanta Public Museum, located at 114 SW Arch Street, Atlanta,
reopens for visitors on April 2, 2025. Monday - Saturdays, 10 AM - 4
PM, Sundays, 1 PM - 4 PM.
The Museum is housed in three buildings, on two floors. Unlike most
small-town museums, we have added interactive aspects such as Hidden
Lincolns, Flat Lincoln, Bank Vault Challenges, and a Memorial Hall
dedicated to our Military Hometown Heroes who have served from
Atlanta since the Civil War.

And in 2025 we have several
'contests' associated with our Special Event Exhibits - a Quilt
Show & Contest, a Christmas in July Route 66 Gingerbread
Competition, Artist Show, an 'Antiques Roadshow' and Cemetery
Walk. Information can be found on our webpage at
atlantamuseum.org.
We hope everyone will stop in and see what the Atlanta Public
Museum has to offer.
