[February 15, 2025]  LINCOLN -  A. Henry Bartmann Jr. "Hank", 82, of Lincoln, passed away February 12, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation: Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home

Service: Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the funeral home

Obituary

A. Henry Bartmann Jr. "Hank", 82, of Lincoln, passed away February 12, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home with funeral services following at 7 PM.

Henry was born September 17, 1942, in Lincoln, IL., the son of Anton Henry Bartmann Sr. and Lorcy (Sparrow). He married Debbie (Altman) on December 21, 1983. She preceded him in death on March 30, 2013.

Henry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He worked as a Logan County Sherriff's deputy for more than 30 years. He was a lifelong resident of Lincoln and a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, reading, watching westerns and he loved the ladies.

 

Survivors include his children: Scott Dean Bartmann (Tina Winchester), Dawn Michelle Coers, Angela Hope Harnacke( Scott Gagnon), Anthony Henry Bartmann, Paula Parson, and Jennifer Seaman; 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and sisters Donna Jean Hellman and Jean Ann Unsinger.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Debbie.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Diabetes Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
