Obituary
Marold Lohrenz, 88, passed away on
January 24, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Funeral services for Marold Lohrenz will be held on
Monday, February 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the
Peasley Funeral Home with Rev. Dawn Beavan
officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10: 00 a.m. until time
of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Richmond Grove Cemetery in rural
New Holland.
Marold Lohrenz was born on April 25, 1936 in
Lincoln, Illinois, the son of Herman John Lohrenz
and Anna Hanekamp Lohrenz. He passed from this life
on January 24, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of
88 years.
Marold married the love of his life, Patty Snyder on
June 17, 1956 in New Holland, Illinois. He received
his Masters Degree from the University of Illinois
and went on to become Vice President of Engineering
of Telex.
When Marold wasn’t working, he enjoyed trips to
Branson, Missouri and being outdoors. He loved going
to the lake, fishing, camping, raising horses and
cows and showing dogs. He served as President of the
Oklahoma Palomino Association for several years.
Later in life, he was an N-scale train enthusiast, a
woodworker and spending time with his family was the
most important thing. He will be greatly missed by
those who knew and loved him.

Grandchildren: Lindsey Lohrenz, Kevin Hayes and wife
Andrea, Valarie Williams and husband Eric
Great Grandchildren: Lucas Hayes, Ryker Williams,
Logan Hayes, Kiera Williams, Liesl Hayes, Laney
Hayes
He was preceded in death by: Parents: Herman and
Anna Lohrenz ,Wife: Patty Lohrenz, Son: Mike Lohrenz,
Grandson: Justin Lohrenz
