Obituary
Barbara Ann (Prince) Smith, 82, of
Lincoln, passed away December 30, 2024, shortly
after her family sang “Happy Birthday” to her on her
82nd birthday. Barbara lived a full and happy life
and she did it her way with a “Smile” and “Grace”.
Barbara was a very special lady who received her
wings and went to be with her Lord and Savior. She
was a loving, caring, and faithful lady that lived
her life for the Lord each and every single day of
her life.
Barbara was born December 30, 1942, to Edward Brown
and Helen West in Jerseyville.
Barbara is survived by her children, Teresa (Donnie)
Tisdale, Paula (Geoff) Gossett, Darrell Van Cleve,
all of Lincoln; eleven grandchildren; many
great-grandchildren; and even more
great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by
four sisters, one brother, and many nieces and
nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; one
son, Timothy Prince; one daughter, Sheryl Lou
Hudson; one son-in-law, David Hudson; and seven
siblings. |
She was a member of Full Gospel
Church for over forty-five years.
Barbara loved the Lord, her family, and many, many
friends. She will be deeply missed by so many people
that she touched and loved so dearly in her life.
Funeral Services for Barbara will be held at 6:00 pm
on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Visitation will take place two hours prior, from
4:00 pm to 6:00 pm also at the funeral home. Burial
will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 6, 2025,
at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.
Memorials may be made to the family to assist with
funeral expenses in ℅ Paula Gossett.
