 The
topic for the essay is "What is My Favorite National Memorial or
Monument?".
The contest is open to all students in the 7th
through 12th grades in the local Lincoln schools, and those
home-schooled. Area grade schools and the high school guidance
department have been given the information and guidelines for the
contest.

Essays must be received by February 7, 2025. They can
be turned into the students’ school, the American Legion Post, or
mailed to Diane Farmer, 1209 700th Avenue, Lincoln, IL 62656.
