DENVER (AP) — A woman was killed and two others injured in a
series of three stabbings Denver police were investigating to
see if they were related.
The stabbings happened between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday near
the 16th Street Mall, a popular downtown shopping area, the
Denver Police Department said in statements on X.
Police announced the woman's death Sunday. They had not released
the identities of the victims or condition of the survivors.
Police were uncertain whether the stabbings were connected, but
on Sunday they released a grainy image of a person dressed in
black they said was a suspect.
The suspect and victims had no apparent connection and any
motive was unknown, police said.
