Mount Pulaski defeats Hartsburg-Emden 74-43
Tschantz leads Hilltoppers with 18 points

[January 13, 2025]  The Hilltoppers won the battle of the little Logan County schools on Friday night in Hartsburg.   

Mount Pulaski walked away with a 74-43 win as Beau Tschantz led the way with 18 points and Austin Kretzinger tossed in 17 points. Eric Cooper contributed 14 points.

Carson Zinser led the Stags with 13 points.

Mount Pulaski held a 14-8 lead after the first quarter.

With Beau Tschantz scoring 12 points in the second quarter the Hilltoppers managed a 35-16 lead at the half.

The Stags put together a solid third quarter, but the Hilltoppers couldn’t be stopped as the score escalated to 60-32.

When it was all said and done the Hilltoppers placed eleven players in double-figures in the 74-43 win.
