The Athens Warriors got the best of Mount
Pulaski on Thursday night, winning by a final score of 47-40.
The two teams were tied 9-9 after the first quarter.
The Warriors were up 23-15 by halftime.
Athens continued to lead 37-28 when the third quarter ended.
Despite 22 points from leading scorer Alyson Murphy, Mount
Pulaski took the 47-40 loss.
Athens won the JV contest 40-31.
