Obituary
Melissa A. Remmert, 47, of Mt.
Pulaski, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 12,
2025, at her home.
Melissa was born August 28, 1977, the daughter of
Dale and Patricia (Trago) Yaple. She married Sean
Remmert on February 5, 2000, in Mt. Pulaski. He
preceded her in death in 2015.
Melissa is survived by her son, Colin Remmert;
daughter, Caitlin Remmert; parents, Dale and
Patricia Yaple; brother, Jeff (Katherine) Yaple;
in-laws, Scot and Sandy Remmert; brother-in-law,
Shane (Leighann) Remmert; one nephew, Austin Yaple;
and three nieces, Emma Yaple, Olivia Remmert, and
Ava Remmert, all of Mt. Pulaski, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband;
brother-in-law, Seth Remmert; and her maternal and
paternal grandparents. |
Melissa loved reading and especially
loved taking care of and raising her children.
Services for Melissa will be private. Burial will
follow the service at Mt. Pulaski Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Melissa’s name to the
Education Fund for Colin and Caitlin Remmert.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski.
