[January 21, 2025]  Dennis Clemon running for Lincoln City Council Ward 3 Alderman

My Name is Dennis Clemons. I am running for [Lincoln] City Council in Ward 3.

I will give you a little info on myself.

Education: Graduated 1976 Taylorville High school
Moved to Logan County 1990
Lived in Mt. Pulaski till 2012 Moved to Lincoln 2012
Retired Illinois Department of Transportation 2017 after nearly
30 years.

I am running for [Lincoln City] council because after two terms as Alderman in Mt.Pulaski, I have become very interested in city government.

My goal if elected is to try to bring new fresh ideas to the city council.

I believe we have Good Schools here and a city of citizens that care about the city and want to see it grow and prosper.

There are some things I think could be changed for the better as well as others that are doing well.

I would like to see more businesses in town and see the city grow. We need some new restaurants, small sustainable shops, and places where the people can go and feel safe.

[to top of second column]

I can be contacted at (217)899-9750 most anytime but please before 9pm.

I would greatly appreciate your vote. Thank you for your time.

Dennis Clemons
