The Wolverines were dominating from the tip-off
as the team poured in five 3s alone in the first quarter. Kruz
Froebe had three of the 3s and he was joined by Griffen Cross
and Keilin Sales from beyond the arc. Froebe finished the
quarter with fifteen points and Colby Bowman added ten points.
When the first quarter came to a close the Wolverines were on
top 31-3. The Panthers lone three-pointer came from Liam Brandt.
By halftime the Wolverines lead was 43-3. Bowman, Cross and
Sales took care of the scoring for WLB in the second quarter.
Jaxson Ferguson scored all of the Panthers five points in the
third quarter. WLB took a 59-8 lead with Brodie Glenn and Evan
Clements making it into the scorebook.
Masen Cross and Glenn each had a basket in the fourth quarter as
WLB was on cruise control, picking up the 63-8 win over the
Panthers.
Kruz Froebe led the Wolverines with 20 points.
Colby Bowman tossed in 16 points.
Griffen Cross tallied 11 points for WLB.
The Wolverines improved their record to 25-1.
WLB will host the sectional championship on Monday, February 3,
2025. The Wolverines will play the Hartsburg-Emden Stags at 6:30
p.m.
