            | Dear Editor,
This National Nurses Week, May 6-12, Memorial Health honors all the
nursing team members who provide exceptional, high-quality care to
our patients. Nurses across Lincoln and Logan County work in a
variety of settings, including at Lincoln Memorial Hospital, as well
as in clinics, patient homes, local nursing homes and assisted
			living centers.

There are nearly five million registered nurses nationwide, which
represents the largest healthcare profession in America. Yet numbers
alone cannot capture their impact. Every day, our nurses blend
scientific expertise with compassion, caring for patients during
			their most vulnerable moments.

[to top of second column in this letter]
 | A nursing career requires a lifetime dedicated to
continuous learning and service. I feel proud and honored to work
alongside so many kind, talented nursing team members who have made
that commitment to our patients and communities. While nursing can
be challenging, it also brings many rewards and the confidence that
we truly make a difference in people’s lives. This week, please take a few moments to thank the nursing
professionals in your life for their commitment and for all the work
			they do.

 Sincerely,
 Roxanne Stelle
 Chief Nursing Officer
 Lincoln Memorial Hospital
