On Saturday, June 14,
2025, Logan County Deputy and School Resource
Officer Joshua Pharis publicly announced that he
will make a run for the office of Logan County
Sheriff on the steps of the Mt. Pulaski Courthouse.
After his announcement, his supporters present at
the announcement gathered on the steps of the
courthouse for a group photo with the candidate.
