Summer Nationals Storm Into Lincoln
Speedway This Sunday; DIRTcar Late Models and Modifieds Highlight Huge
Night of Racing
[June 19, 2025]
Lincoln, IL – After an action-packed opening week of the 2025
DIRTcar Summer Nationals, the tour heads to Lincoln Speedway this
Sunday, June 22 for another thrilling night of high-powered dirt
racing in Central Illinois.
Week #1 of the grueling “Hell Tour” showcased why the Summer
Nationals remains one of the most exciting dirt racing series in the
country. Billy Moyer kicked off the tour with a win at Brownstown
Bullring, followed by victories from Jason Feger at Kankakee
Speedway and Sycamore Speedway, Drake Troutman at Peoria, and Brian
Shirley at Fairbury. By the end of the opening stretch, it was Feger
who stood tall as the Week #1 Champion, setting the stage for what
promises to be an unforgettable summer.
Week #2 action has seen Drake Troutman (Wilmot Raceway) and Ryan
Gustin (Davenport Speedway) take the two wins. Wednesday’s action at
Quincy Raceway’s was postponed, leaving Lee County Speedway Thursday
and I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Friday and Saturday, leading
up to the final night of week #2 action Sunday in Lincoln, IL.

Fans will get their shot to witness the action firsthand at Lincoln
Speedway this Sunday night when the DIRTcar Late Models and DIRTcar
Modifieds roll into town. With the tour already producing
edge-of-your-seat battles and big-name winners, Lincoln’s stop is
expected to deliver more of the same.
In addition to the Summer Nationals Late Models and Modifieds, the
popular Crown Vic division will be in action, providing fans with a
full slate of wheel-to-wheel competition.
