Lincoln Community Theatre (LCT)
will be presenting its first show of the 2025 summer season this
weekend. Audiences are invited to enjoy Musicville, LCT’s youth
workshop musical. Directed by veteran thespian and theater director
Cari Wilmert, Musicville features 35 local children and teens in
this musical adventure created by Beat by Beat Press. Wilmert is
enthusiastic about these young performers and this show stating,
“I’m very excited to be directing this fun musical!”


Beat by Beat Press explains that
“Musicville takes you on an adventure with Maiden Melody and Radical
Rhythm as they attempt to save their town from the Sorcerer of
Silence. On their quest to the Castle of Composition, they pass
through the Desert of Doo-wop, the Ocean of Opera, and the Terrible
Terrain of Tango meeting musical friends and foes along the way.
Their journey teaches them about new kinds of music, overcoming
obstacles, and the importance of working together!”

The talented cast of Musciville
includes both LCT alumni and youth who are new to treading the
boards. The cast features Anya Sommers, Owen King, Norah Judd,
Cameron Wilmert, Julia Judd, Emma Bates, Sophia Bauer, Judson Bacus,
Atticus Beatty, Ezra Sommers, Morgan Usherwood, Daniel Davis, Anna
Sheley, Maren Kitterman, Ethan Jones, Anderson Babbs, Ava Helm,
Austin Petty, Kaden Eales, Aera Merritt, Elizabeth Conklen, Caroline
Petty, Elle Fults, Maddie Bacus, Kaylyn Coers, Elliot Bacus, Shawn
King, Lydia Davis, Trace Usherwood, Burke Kitterman, Makayla Giles,
Zoey Jackson, Abigail Horton, Thalia Turner, and Lily Butler.

Performances of Musicville are June
27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m. and June 29 at 2:00 p.m at Lincoln Community
High School in Lincoln. Tickets are $16 for Adults and $11 for
Students with a Cash Discount of $1.00 The box office opens one hour
prior to show time and the auditorium opens 30 minutes prior to the

Lincoln Community Theatre is a nonprofit dramatic arts organization

LCT’s next production will be the classic musical Guys and Dolls on
stage at Lincoln Community High School from July 24 through 27,
