Obituary
Patricia “Pat” L. Babbs, 71, of
Middletown, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at
the Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, June 27,
2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Irish Grove Cemetery in
Middletown with Mrs. Nancy Otto officiating.
No Visitation is scheduled.
Patricia L. Fulscher was born on December 27, 1953,
at St. Clara’s Hospital in Lincoln, the daughter of
Garland Deo and Lillian White Fulscher. She was
united in marriage to Danny Babbs on September 16,
1972. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother: Lillian Fulscher,
three sons: Rick Babbs, Damon (Bobbie) Babbs, and
Brandon (Annalea) Babbs; six grandchildren: Eric
Babbs, Elle Fults, Anderson Babbs, Halli Babbs, Noah
Babbs, and Lane Babbs; three great-grandchildren:
Baylee, Logan and Brodie; one brother: Garland
Michael Fulscher, and one sister: Linda (David)
Moyer.
She was preceded in death by her father, one son:
Leland Russell Babbs, and one grandson: Justin

Patty graduated from the New Holland
Middletown High School in 1972. She retired from
Meyers Industries after 22 years and was owner of
the Longhorn Saloon in Middletown.
Her hobbies included baking, gardening, puzzles,
going to the mountains, and bird watching. Her
grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she enjoyed
teaching and sharing her hobbies with them.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St.
Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
