[March 17, 2025]  LINCOLN - Bobby D. Baker, 76, of Lincoln, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Visitation:  Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Southern Baptist Church

Service:  Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at the church

Obituary

Bobby D. Baker, 76, of Lincoln, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Southern Baptist Church at 777 Feldman Drive, Lincoln, IL, with Pastor Jim Thatcher officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of the service.

Burial will be in Keyes Cemetery following the service. Military Rites will be accorded by Lincoln American Legion Post #263.

Bobby Duane Baker was born on August 2, 1948, in Lincoln, the son of Lucinda Baker Underwood. He was united in marriage to Pamela Miller on December 28, 1968. She survives.

Also surviving are his children: Timothy Baker and Teri Ann Raymond; one brother: Jackie Underwood; two sisters: Margaret Finn and Susan Underwood; two grandchildren: Ashley Nichole Raymond and Nichole Ashley Stevenson; two great-grandchildren: Evelyn and Griffin; and best friends, Randy Beavers and Genia and Dave Lock.

He was preceded in death by his mother, two brothers: Gene and Donnie; and one sister: Phyllis Underwood.

Bobby graduated from the McLean-Waynesville High School in 1967. He then served in the United States Army. He retired after forty-two years of service from Culter Hammer / Eaton Corp. in Lincoln.

Bobby was a member of the Lincoln Southern Baptist Church. He was a Boy Scout Master for Troop 107 in Lincoln. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid hunter.

Memorials may be made to the Lincoln Southern Baptist Church, My Loveable Angels at 605 S. McClun Street, Bloomington, IL or Wishbone K9 Rescue at 1824 W Hovey Street, Normal, IL.
