| Lincoln took a 3-0 lead in the top of the third
when Corley scored on a double by Drew Hayes. Corley had walked
to start the inning and he advanced to second on the sacrifice
				bunt by Lucas.
Good things happen when Corley leads off an inning.

Leading off in the top of the fifth, Corley made contact with a
1-2 pitch and sent it to left field for a double. He scored on a
single by Hayes and the Railsplitters found themselves up 4-0.

It was Griffin Shaw’s turn to lead off the top of the sixth
inning for Lincoln and he delivered a single to center. With one
out, Owen Comstock and Carson Fuiten each reached on singles to
load the bases for Lincoln. Fuiten’s single was an impressive
bunt to the third base side. With Corley at the plate, Shaw
would score on a wild pitch. Once Corley got a pitch to hit, he
smacked it hard to center and this sent Comstock home. Lincoln
was retired in the inning on a double play but the 6-0 lead was
				still satisfactory on the scoreboard.

Two singles and an error in the bottom of the sixth inning did
allow the Eagles to plate two runs.

Three singles and a run by the Eagles made things a little
interesting in the bottom of the seventh inning but after a line
out to Corley in center field and a pop fly in foul territory to
Kyle Koehler, it was game over for the Eagles.
