Mount Pulaski High School held the Grand March for
their prom at 4:30 PM on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The Grand March had
originally been scheduled to take place at the Mount Pulaski
Courthouse, but due to inclement weather, the venue was changed to
the gymnasium.
One side of the gym was filled with attendees in the bleachers while
the couples entered from the opposite side where there was an
entryway dividing the bleachers. 29 couples and one individual
walked across the gym, stopped and posed so the audience could take
pictures, then walked off to their left to join the students that
had already been announced. After the final couple crossed, the Prom
Court of five couples was then announced, each staying on the
gymnasium floor until the Prom Court was complete.

The King and Queen were chosen
later at the actual prom at 8:45 p.m., with the titles being
given to Nathan Golden and Cecilia Davis, respectively.
