Lincoln Speedway Set for
Star-Studded FloRacing Night in America Event Thursday, May 8

Lincoln, IL – One of the biggest nights of the season is set
to unfold at Lincoln Speedway on Thursday, May 8, as the exciting
1/4-mile oval hosts FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota,
headlined by the Graue Chevrolet Showdown. The national Super Late
Model event will pay a hefty $20,000 to the winner, attracting some
of the best drivers in the country to Central Illinois.
The Super Late Model roster is stacked with talent, including
several nationally recognized stars and home-state favorites:
Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, IL – the “Smooth Operator” and 2023 World
of Outlaws champion has over 200 wins to his name and is always a
contender on Illinois soil.
Ricky Thornton, Jr. of Chandler, AZ – 2024 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt
Series Champion with over 30 wins last season, ready to add a
Lincoln trophy to his collection.

Brandon Sheppard of New Berlin, IL – a five-time World of Outlaws
champion and multi-time crown jewel winner looking for another big
victory in his home state.
Jason Feger of Bloomington, IL – the “Highside Hustler” and former
UMP Summer Nationals Champion, known for his exciting, high-groove
racing style.
Shannon Babb of Moweaqua, IL – a legend in Illinois racing, boasting
four UMP Summer Nationals titles and over 100 Summer National wins.
Ryan Unzicker of El Paso, IL – the former DIRTcar National Champion
and a consistent front-runner at Lincoln.
Myles Moos of Lincoln, IL – the local favorite looking to defend his
home turf in front of the hometown crowd.
Tyler Erb of New Waverly, TX – the aggressive, crowd-pleasing Texan,
bringing national wins and flair to the track.
Dennis Erb, Jr. of Carpentersville, IL – the 2022 World of Outlaws
Late Model Champion with a long list of major accomplishments.
Brian Shirley of Chatham, IL – a four-time DIRTcar Summer Nationals
Champion and one of the most decorated drivers in the Midwest.

In addition to the Super Late Models, the DIRTcar Modifieds will be
in action for $2,000 to win, bringing with them a tradition of
strong fields and thrilling finishes at this event. Past winners
include Nick Hoffman (2022), Tyler Nicely (2023), and Ray Bollinger
(2024). The division drew 21 cars at the season opener and is
expected to put on another competitive showing.

Early Arrivals:
Fans arriving before the grandstands open at 3:00 PM should enter
through the Jefferson Street Pit Entrance, purchase their armbands
at the pit booth, then drive around to park on the grandstand side.

With great weather forecasted, an all-star driver lineup, and

Speedway is shaping up to be one of the premier midweek events in
