Obituary
Caroline M. (Wilson) Bleavins, 84, of
Mt. Pulaski, IL., left this earth to be with our
Lord and passed loved ones on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
Caroline was born on February 6, 1941, in Wapella,
IL., the daughter of Earl and Mary Wilson. She
married Harry R. Bleavins on December 4, 1959, in
Clinton, IL. They recently celebrated 65 years of
marriage this past December.
Caroline is survived by her husband, Harry of Mt.
Pulaski, IL.; son, Richard (Marleney) Bleavins of
Lakewood, FL.; two daughters, Bridget (Donald) Locke
of Mattoon, IL.; and Angela Cohoon of Stevens Point
WI. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren
and great grandchildren, her brother, Tom Wilson,
and two sisters, Bessie Lee, and Alice (Terry)
Fitzgerald
Caroline is preceded in death by her parents, a
brother, David Wilson; and sister, Norma Heath.
Caroline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and
great grandmother. She was a loving, and devoted
Christian lady. |
Caroline loved others and never met
someone that she couldn't befriend. She will be
greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services for Caroline will be held at
11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 14, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service on
Wednesday (from 10:00 to 11:00 AM) also at the
funeral home. A graveside service will follow on
Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery in Leroy,
IL. Memorials may be made in Caroline’s memory to
Park Meadows Baptist Church in Lincoln or
Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski.
