Four Lincoln Junior High athletes will be
participating in the 2025 IESA Class 3A State Track and Field
Championships at EastSide Centre in East Peoria this weekend.
Olivia Pethy, Hadley Lichauer, Ava Sorenson, Lilah Hofer
qualified for State in the 7th grade 4x100m relay. These girls
placed first in sectionals with a PR of 55.42.
Olivia Pethy also qualified in the 400m run with a time of 1:04.
That is a PR for Pethy. She placed first in the sectional meet.
The LJHS record is 1:03.5.
Carson Rabbe and Hadley Lichauer also placed in the sectional
meet.
Rabbe finished in sixth place in the 8th grade boys shot put and
in sixth place in the discus.
Lichauer finished in sixth place in the 7th grade girls 200m.
Congratulations and good luck to all the athletes at State this
Friday and Saturday.
The Trojans are coached by Leslie Singleton and Anthony Varnado.
