Obituary

It is with broken hearts that we announce the transition of Paul Eugene Logan Jr., 67, of Lincoln, Il. He was born on December 28, 1957 and went to be with Jesus on May 25, 2025.

He passed peacefully with his long time special friend, Debra Handlin Betterton, by his side at OSF Hospital in Bloomington, IL.

Paul was an Army Veteran that worked hard all of his life. He never met a stranger and would help anyone who needed a hand-up without hesitation or judgement. He loved his family, friends, slots, pool tournaments, and chasing storms. He would climb the highest roof, without fear, and repair it skillfully. Paul left his footprints on several beaches across the land. He was one of the very best in the roofing trade.

He has left lots of memories in the hearts and minds of those he encountered, There they will remain and be cherished forever.

Paul leaves behind his two daughters, Bobbie Overbey (big button), of North Carolina, and Kayla Goodwin (baby button), of Arkansas. He has four (4) grandchildren, Haley, Skyler, Emma, and Ashton and seven (8) great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Logan, and both of his parents, Paul Logan Sr. and Beverly Shanle.

Cremation rights have been given to Peasley Funeral Home, and graveside services will be scheduled for June 27 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln, IL.
