Carroll Catholic School’s Queen
of Hearts Raffle is over a $10,000 payout! As a progressive raffle,
the jackpot will continue to build until the queen of hearts is
revealed. At that time, the raffle has a jackpot of over $17,600.
The Queen of Hearts Raffle consists of a board with a standard poker
deck and two jokers arranged randomly face down. The cards are
numbered 1 to 54. When a player’s ticket is drawn, the card number
written on the ticket is revealed. If it’s the queen of hearts, the
player wins sixty percent of the jackpot, while the school retains
forty percent. All other cards in the deck offer lower cash payouts.
If the queen of hearts remains hidden, the game continues and the
jackpot rolls over to the next drawing.
Again, this year, our Queen of Hearts Raffle is virtual. We will
draw the winning ticket at 3:30 pm on Thursdays at the school and
will livestream the drawing on the school’s Facebook page. To get
ready for each drawing, ticket sales will stop at 3:15pm on
Thursdays. If the queen of hearts is not revealed, the jackpot will
continue to build for the next drawing. Be sure to check our
Facebook page or CCS1961 Instagram account for updated jackpot
amounts during the week, as well as a list of the revealed card
numbers.

We will sell
tickets throughout the week, both through the school and online.
You may purchase tickets with cash or check from Mrs. Craig in
the school office (Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm). Tickets may
be purchased online using a credit/debit card, Venmo, or Paypal
by clicking here,
and we’ll take care of filling out your tickets for you. When
purchasing online, you’ll be asked to tell us what playing card
number you want written on your tickets. Also, during checkout,
you’ll be asked if you wish to cover the processing fees on
behalf of the school – this is not expected (and you can opt out
of doing so), but it will be certainly appreciated if you choose
to.
