Alyson Murphy, daughter of Tommy and Heather Murphy,
has been named November-Senior-of-the-Month at Mount Pulaski High
School.
During her time at MPHS, Alyson has been involved in Basketball for
four years, Volleyball for four years, FFA for four years, serving
as our FFA chapter’s Secretary and Historian, Spirit Squad for three
years, Spanish Club for two years, Yearbook for two years, and
National Honor Society for two years.
Alyson has also earned many awards. Basketball awards and honors-
1,400 career points, 3rd team all-state (2x), 1st team
all-conference (2x), Riverton Christmas Classic All-tournament team
(2x), Prime-time player of the week. Volleyball awards and honors-
3rd team all-conference. She has also been on honor roll
consistently.
Alyson has worked for the Mt. Pulaski pool as a lifeguard for 3
years, and plans to work for them Summer of 2026 as well.
Alyson plans to attend Parkland College, to major in Dental Hygiene.

for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by INB.
