Obituary
Dale W. McGinnis,
68, of Lincoln, passed away November 17, 2025, at
Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Cremation rites have been
accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home.
Dale was born October 10, 1957, in Hopedale, IL.,
the son of Clifford and Neomia (Fletcher) McGinnis.
He married Vivian Raridon on August 17, 1979, and
they shared 34 beautiful years together. She
preceded him in death on August 7, 2013.
Dale was a lifelong farm worker. He was a devoted
sports fan with a special love for Dodgers baseball
and was an avid baseball card collector. Dale loved
music—especially the Beatles—and enjoyed playing
cards with friends and family, particularly poker.
Survivors include his children, Jeremy (Michele)
McGinnis and Heather (Adam) Ausmus; his
grandchildren, Isabelle, Ethan, Conner, and Kylie;
his sister, Beverly; and his brothers, Clifford and
William. |
He was preceded in
death by his parents, his wife, and his brothers
John “Ed” and Kenneth.
Memorial donations may be made to the American
Cancer Society.
