Today is Wednesday,
October 1st and the first day of the annual Lincoln
Daily News Paint the Paper Pink campaign. Throughout
this month, LDN will be featuring local businesses
and organizations who have put on their pink in
support of breast cancer awareness and our local
warriors and survivors.
We begin, as always, with the photo of the great
staff at Collision Concepts. This group plays a huge
role in the annual Pink Pumpkin Fundraiser Auction
to benefit the American Cancer Society, which will
be held this year on Thursday, October 2nd starting
at 5 p.m. at Collision Concepts, 1005 Macon Street
in Lincoln.

The community
is invited to join Laine Brickey and her furry
friends along with staff and family for a ribbon
cutting at the new Wild Woof Inn in Lincoln. Wild
Woof is the new name for the Cha-Dai Pet Motel,
located at 1255 Hickox Drive, and Laine has moved
from a Cha-Dai employee to the owner of the Wild
Woof.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 5 p.m.
on Wednesday, October 8th. Please make a plan to
come out and show your support for Laine in her new
venture.
