Perfect weather for Trunk or Treat in Mount Pulaski

[October 28, 2025]

The Community Association of Mount Pulaski hosted Trunk or Treat Saturday afternoon on the town square and once again, the event was a huge success. The weather was perfect and definitely a factor in gathering a large crowd.

Approximately 400 trick or treaters visited the trunks located on Washington Street and Cooke Street.

Steve Martin and Karl Scroggin also passed out candy at the steps of the Mount Pulaski Courthouse.

Adults and kids dressed up for the occasion and everyone felt safe with Spider-Man and Iron Man walking the streets.

Dinosaurs, vampires and even Freddy Krueger roamed the streets but with Josh Pharis of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department in town, there was no threat of danger.

Batgirl and her friends gave out free hotdogs courtesy of Vonderlieth Living Center.

A balloon artist was also a big hit among the young kids.

The event always welcomes visitors from out of town.

Thanks to all those who help to make the event a success.
