Obituary
Jill Alberts, 69, of Lincoln, IL,
passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at
Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski.
Jill was born September 16, 1955, in Lincoln, IL,
the daughter of Jack and Doris (Dengler) Foster. She
married Rodney Alberts on June 7, 1975, in Lincoln.
He survives.
Jill was known to be an avid shopper, from dawn to
dusk, she would out shop anyone. She took pride in
housekeeping, ensuring to use the vacuum anytime she
could. Jill liked going on trips with her husband
where she would “have” to gamble. Lovingly known to
many as mom, Jill was always welcoming her
children’s friends. However, taking care of her
family was her greatest joy in life.
Jill is also survived by her children, Jody (Matt)
Haynes and Jerad (Alyssa) Alberts; grandchildren,
Avery and Taylor Bottles; and her brothers, Jeffrey
and Jackie (Deb) Foster. |
She was preceded in death by parents
and grandson, Lucas Alberts.
Funeral services for Jill will be
held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Visitation will take place Friday, September 5,
2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the service at Hartsburg Union
Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Jill’s name to
Immanuel Lutheran Church - Lincoln, Vonderlieth
Living Center Foundation, or to the Donor’s Choice.
