- Kim Aper, 67, of Lincoln, IL, passed away on Thursday, September
4, 2025, at St. Clara’s Senior and Rehab Center.

A private graveside service will be held at a later
date at Hartsburg Union Cemetery.

Obituary
Kim Aper, 67, of Lincoln, IL, passed
away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at St. Clara’s
Senior and Rehab Center.
Kim was born September 26, 1957, in Milwaukee, WI,
the daughter of Lee and Nancy (Davies) Windschanz.
She married David Aper on December 11, 1976, in
Lincoln. He survives.
Kim is also survived by her siblings, Chris (Bonnie)
Windschanz of Milwaukee, WI, Diane Windschanz of
Franklin, WI, Alison (Bob) Worthen of Morton, IL,
and Cheryl Case of Springfield, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son,
Michael Aper.

A private graveside service will be
held at a later date at Hartsburg Union Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Kim’s name to the
Parkinson's Foundation. Cremation rites have been
entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln.
