CITY — Travis Robert Keihn, 46, of Mason City passed away on
Monday, September 1, 2025 at Memorial Hospital in Springfield after
a 27 year battle with kidney disease.

Obituary
Travis Robert Keihn, 46, of Mason
City passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025 at
Memorial Hospital in Springfield after a 27 year
battle with kidney disease. He was born in Lincoln
on January 11, 1979 to Michael Keihn she survives.
Also surviving are his 2 daughters: Taylor Keihn of
Mason City and Kyleigh Keihn of Williamsville,
brother TJ Ross of Springfield and great-uncle Rusty
(Brenda) Ballard of San Jose and many other loving
family members. He was preceded in death by his
grandparents Bobby and Thelma Keihn, great-grandma B
and his dog Leo.
He was a 1997 graduate of Riverton High School,
served in the United States Army and went on to work
as a correctional officer. Travis enjoyed coaching,
fishing, watching sports, racing, eating pizza and
most importantly spending time with his girls.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and a memorial
visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10,
2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hurley Funeral Home
in Mason City.
