The West Lincoln Broadwell Wolverines are back-to-back
Champions of the Logan County Baseball Tournament after defeating
Mount Pulaski 11-1 and Chester-East Lincoln 9-3 on Saturday,
September 6, 2025.

West Lincoln Broadwell 11
Kruz Froebe was the winning pitcher on Saturday morning as the
Wolverines defeated Mount Pulaski 11-1 in the semifinal game of the
county tournament. Froebe gave up three hits and one run in five
innings of work. He struck out 11 batters and walked two.
Colby Bowman led WLB at the plate with a 3-for-4 performance and two
runs scored.
Masen Cross was 2-for-2 with two RBIs.
Kruz Froebe, Griffen Cross, Evan Clements, Brodie Glenn and Brantley
Conrady each had one hit for WLB.
Chester-East Lincoln 3
West Lincoln Broadwell 9
Griffen Cross was the winning pitcher for WLB in the 9-3 victory
over CEL in the championship game.
Cross worked five and one-third innings, allowing three runs on
three hits. Only one run was earned. He struck out nine batters and
walked three.
Brantley Conrady tossed one and two-thirds innings in relief for WLB.
Conrady did not allow a hit while walking one and striking out five.
Colby Bowman continued to crush the baseball.
Bowman was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBIs. He was a
home run shy of the cycle.

Griffen Cross was 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs. His triple
put the Wolverines on top in the second inning.
Evan Clements was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs.
Masen Cross also had two hits for the Wolverines.
Brodie Glenn and Roscoe Eimer each had one hit.
