Obituary
Lester P. Coers, 72 of New Holland,
IL passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, in the
comfort of his own home.
Lester was born on June 27, 1953, in Lincoln, IL,
the son of Edgar and Analina (Conrady) Coers.
Lester is survived by his children, April Goodwin,
David (Jessica Sizemore) Coers, and Cara (Jeremy
Miner) Coers; his brothers, Lynn (Sue) Coers, Alvin
(Arlene) Coers, and Stanley (Scarlett) Coers; his
grandchildren, Autumn, Xavier, Jude, Duane, Ava,
Xavier, Liam, Ziva, and Caroline; and his two
great-grandchildren; and his neighbors, who he loved
chatting with.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents.
Lester enjoyed spending time in his garage creating
things and woodworking. Lester could often be found
on his scooter in town watching people do their
building projects. |
Lester was a volunteer fireman for
many years in New Holland and also helped farm there
as well. He was born with a big heart and would help
anyone in need.
Cremation rites have been accorded by
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL.
