Obituary
Dorothy M. Martinek,
101, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, August 4,
2026, at St. Clara's Rehab and Senior Care Center.
No services are scheduled. Cremation Rites have been
accorded.
Dorothy Maude Johnson was born on January 19, 1925,
in Birmingham, Michigan, the daughter of James Edwin
and Maude Lambert Johnson. She was united in
marriage to George Martinek. He preceded her in
death on October 5, 2005.
She is survived by one son: Victor (Denise) Martinek;
three grandchildren: John (Rachel) Martinek, Tom
Martinek, and George Martinek; four
great-grandchildren: Ryan, Jessica (Gabe), JD, and
Jacob; and one niece, Barb Leimeter. |
She was preceded in
death by one son and daughter-in-law: Jim E. and
Lory Martinek; and one brother: Angus Johnson.
Dotty's hobbies were playing cards and traveling.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Logan
County.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
