Northwest Indiana.
On his 24th birthday in 1965, he married Barbara Ann
Casey. They were married for 50 years before her
death in July 2015. Together they raised three
children, Victoria, Douglas, and Glenn. He was
beloved as an Assistant Boy Scout Leader and
assisted his boys' high school track teams.
Throughout the late 70s and 80s, he served as a role
model for several youths who battled addiction. He
was also very involved with the local Catholic
Church, St. Elizabeth Seton, serving as a
Eucharistic Minister.
During their retirement years, Mike and Barb
traveled across the country by RV to visit family
