[January 15, 2026]  ATLANTA -  Ada F. Parks, 83, of Atlanta, passed away at Lincoln Village Healthcare Center in Lincoln on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

Visitation:   Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Atlanta Christian Church.

Service:  Friday, January 16, 2026 at 10 a.m. at the church.

Obituary

Ada F. Parks, 83, of Atlanta, passed away at Lincoln Village Healthcare Center in Lincoln on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

Services for Ada will be held at the Atlanta Christian Church. Visitation will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026. Burial will follow at the Atlanta Cemetery.

Ada F. Myers was born in West Salem, Ill., on August 29, 1942, the daughter of Elbern and Marie Reid Myers. She first married Robert W. Wilson who preceded Ada in death in April of 1981. She later married Tom Parks on January 25, 1985. He survives.

Ada is also survived by her children: Rick (Britany) Wilson and J. Rob Wilson, and step-children: Christine Cleeton and Todd (Kelly) Parks; twelve grandchildren: Rian (Laura) Wilson, Drew Wilson, Nick Wilson, Aiden Wilson, Jacob Wilson, Whitney Boughan, Rachel (Ryan) Wells, Ben (Erika) Potratz, Erica Potratz, Kurt Potratz, Scott (Allie) Parks and Kayla (Zach) Craig; 23 great-grandchildren: three brothers: John (Jan) Myers, James Myers, and Gary (Pam) Myers; and one sister, Wilma Luthe.

Ada was a graduate of Lincoln Christian College and had worked as a church secretary and also at the Atlanta Grade School. She was an avid garage saler. She also enjoyed photography and sewing and received recognition for many of her artistic endeavors at local fairs. Ada was a long-time member of Atlanta Christian Church where she regularly attended Sunday School and participated in the Sisters In Service.

Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Christian Church.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
