- Doris F. Morris, 90, of Lincoln, IL, formerly of Chestnut, passed
away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Lincoln Village Healthcare, in
Lincoln, IL.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the funeral
home.

Obituary
Doris F. Morris, 90,
of Lincoln, IL, formerly of Chestnut, passed away on
Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Lincoln Village
Healthcare, in Lincoln, IL.
Doris was born August 18, 1935, in Lincoln, IL, the
daughter of Frank and Ruth (Boyer) Fulscher. She
married H. Edward Morris on November 11, 1955, in
Middletown, IL. He preceded her in death in 2005.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Debbi Karrick;
son-in-law, Dennis Karrick; grandson, Dale (Melissa)
Karrick; one great-grandchild, Axl Karrick; and her
beloved fur baby, Tiger. She was the last of her
immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,
Ed; two brothers, Harold and Deo; and a sister,
Mary. |
Doris enjoyed working,
collecting jewelry, and watching the birds in her
front yard. Most of all, Doris loved her family and
will be greatly missed.
Funeral services for
Doris will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 16,
2026, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln. Visitation will take place one hour prior
from 9:00 - 10:00 am, also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the service at Laenna Cemetery in
Chestnut, IL. Memorials may be made in Doris’ name
to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart
Association.
