Vehicles lined the historic Mt. Pulaski Courthouse square for the
annual Trunk or Treat Saturday, October 24th.
Several community organizations, including the Logan County
Department of Public Health, Latham Fire, Mt. Pulaski Fire, Mt.
Pulaski Education Association, Mt. Pulaski Community Association,
the Hilltop Club of Mt. Pulaski, Mt. Pulaski Public Library, and
Zion Lutheran Church, participated and handed out goodies to
trick-or-treaters—many adults dressed up to match their trunk's
theme.

Illini National Bank had a fall farm-themed trunk with a barn
backdrop, pumpkins, and an inflatable cow. A couple of trunks had
ghosts: one with two ghosts holding candy, and one with a
pink-and-purple theme with large ghost and pumpkin balloons.
Longview had a cat-themed trunk. Trick-or-treaters had to scoop
their treats out of litter boxes as Goose the cat watched from his
spot in the trunk.

Frankenstein was also there handing out his boogers, which
included snacks like popcorn and candy. One trunk was decorated
as a giant spider.
The costumes ranged from an inflatable T-Rex and minions to a
Twister-themed duo of a tornado and a cow, cowgirls, and many other
creative costumes.
