A community outreach ministry meets for lunch every Sunday in Ray White Park.
The group has helped with nearby community gardens.
This Thursday, September 25, the group will coordinate with the city of Lincoln
for a family night at Ray White Park. City firefighters and police will be grilling
and the garden ministry will offer some games and activities.
A neighborhood
lady requested
a scarecrow
and supplied
her husband’s
bib overalls. On
Sunday, Ed Tibbits
and neighborhood
kids filled the
order and also
created fall
decorations using
corn stalks from a
nearby community
garden.
