Page 60 2018 Area Fall Festivals LINCOLN DAILY NEWS SEPT. 12, 2018 C ommunity festivals offer ample opportunities - a chance to see old friends, make new ones - relax - have some fun - just do the things that build relationships. Some organizations provide food and drink or entertainment that serve as a fundraiser for projects for the year. While the 90 plus degree heat squashed the fall mood during the Mount Pulaski Fall Festival, it did yield some positive influence. Sales were brisk at Norah Burgard’s Lemonade Stand. Norah’s mom, Ashley, helped the five-year-old make her lemonade.
