Page 156 2019 Logan County Fair LINCOLN DAILY NEWS July 28-August 4, 2019 T he Logan County 4-H Foundation recently presented scholarships to five Logan County 4-H members and alumni at 4-H Night during the Logan County Fair. Katie Lynn , daughter of Kevin & Tina Lynn, a graduate of Lincoln Community High School receives a $500 4-H Foundation/Ross Conrady Memorial Scholarship. She will participating in the Youth With a Mission Organization training this fall with future hopes to complete studies at a University in Mission Work. Molly Schempp , daughter of Darin & Cindy Schempp, a homeschool graduate of Midwest Christian Academy receives a $500 4-H Foundation/Alice Jodlowski Memorial Scholarship. She will be a freshman this fall at University of Illinois- Champaign/Urbana with plans to major in Agriculture Leadership Education and Communication. Her future plans are to become and Ag Teacher & FFAAdvisor in Illinois. Logan County 4-H Foundation Presents Scholarship s Katlyn Helton , daughter of Pete & Kristen Helton, also a graduate of Lincoln Community High School, receives a $500 4-H Foundation Scholarship. She will be a junior this fall at Southern Illinois University/Carbondale and majoring in Biology on a pre-med track. Grace Skelton , daughter of Rusty & Stacie Skelton, another graduate of Lincoln Community High School, receives a $500 4-H Foundation Scholarship. She will be a sophomore this fall at Southeast Missouri State University majoring in Nursing with future plans to become a Registered Nurse. Sarah Irwin , daughter of Steve & Ann Marie Irwin, also a graduate of Lincoln Community High School, receives a $500 4-H Foundation Scholarship. She will be a senior at Illinois State University this fall and majoring in Agricultural Teacher Education with future plans to be teaching junior high/high school agriculture.
