2019 Logan County Fair LINCOLN DAILY NEWS July 28-August 4, 2019 Page 177 L ogan County 4-H Sheep Superintendent John Coers, along with Logan County 4-H members, gathered with family and friends at the sheep barn for the 2019 Fair Sheep Show on Thursday morning. John asked for a round of applause, several times, for the youngsters showing sheep saying, “These kids are the reason I get up in the morning.” It was obvious that he was very proud of each 4-H member. Coers and his wife, Annie, who assists as the recorder, were inducted into the Illinois 4-H Foundation 2018 Hall of Fame for their exemplary service to the Illinois 4-H program. They have been volunteering with Logan County 4-H for over 15 years.
