The students also enjoyed pizza, wings, a coffee bar, drinks, snacks, an ice cream bar, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and sausage. This event would not be possible without the continued support and generosity of multiple individuals, businesses, and civic organizations.” Prior to the prom activities, the participants took part in the Grand March Saturday afternoon at the historic Mount Pulaski Courthouse. Master of Ceremonies Greg Taylor made a return at the microphone and introduced the participants on what ended up being a beautiful day. The courthouse always serves as an amazing backdrop for such a special occasion. This year was no different than years past, as each of the participants was absolutely stunning. Sam VanRheeden and Maggie Anderson were crowned the 2019 Prom King and Queen. The rest of the prom court included Abigail Fitzpatrick, Morgan May, Skylar Hayes, Ben Fricke, Logan DeRight and Garrett Skelton. After the crowning of the new king and queen by 2018 King Ayden Rule and Queen Abbey Phillips, the participants gathered on the steps of the courthouse for the annual group photo that everyone loves. Much in part due to the lovely weather and the lovely participants, “Lost In Japan” was a huge success and a night that students will remember.
