The birthday parade took place on Sunday, May 10, 2020 in Elkhart. Part of Cori’s plan was to “break the record” of cars known to have passed by a birthday. Cori thought that the record probably belonged to Teena Lowery’s 60-vehicle parade. Anticipation mounted with a countdown on Cori’s bulletin board. The day finally arrived. 105 vehicles!!! So many Kona-Ice orders that ice blades were broken and machines froze up. Cori’s big idea became a reality.
