Although healthcare workers and first responders easily come to mind as we think of those closest to the Covid-one9 situation, the volunteers at local food pantries are also providing an essential service. These good folks have found new and safe ways to run their organizations during the pandemic. Let’s cheer on those who are working at Holy Family Food Pantry and the Logan County Food Pantry and to all who have donated food to these worthy organizations.” --- Note: Many other organizations and churches also have food pantries and all are seeing a greater need and meeting it. --- From teachers to grocers “Every teacher should be listed, everyone helping with the lunch programs at all the schools right now, everyone working that has to work, all health care and store employees. I will tell you IGA has a great staff and have been amazing through all of this trying to keep everything stocked up the best they can. And personally I am still babysitting daily for at least three kids so their parents can work their jobs and home schooling my eighth grader ... And every parent that is teaching their children at home, as it’s not easy.
