Page 2 Light Up A Life A Publication of Abraham Lincoln Healthcare Foundation Dec. 22, 2020 Dear Friends and Neighbors, T hank you for making the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation 33rd Annual Light Up a Life Campaign a tremendous success! More than 500 families paid tribute to more than 2,000 individuals, raising over $31,000 to support health improvement initiatives in Logan and Mason counties. Thanks to the generosity of our community, these funds will be used locally to: • Award education grants to talented students looking to pursue careers in healthcare • Purchase high-tech medical equipment for ALMH patient care • Fund the work of the ALMH Community Health Collaborative as they continue to reach outside the four walls of the hospital to improve health. Your generosity helps to fund initiatives like The ALMH Market, the Coordinated Approach to Child Health (CATCH) program (impacting over 3,000 local students), the MOSAIC program, breastfeeding support, substance use prevention and more! This generosity is particularly impressive in a year when the field of healthcare and our entire nation are responding to a once-in-a-generation health emergency.
