Take Barkingham Palace for example. Victoria tore down an old shed in her back yard and with the help of her father, the two of them created a two-story puppy palace complete with a balcony and a pool. “I love my dogs more than anything,” said Victoria. Now The Fuzz the Pomeranian, Marvin the Sheppard and Bruiser the Chihuahua live like royalty, with each one having their favorite spots in Barkingham Palace. The palace even features a mailbox for “paying the bills” and an old phonograph for “listening to music.” “They love it,” added Victoria. A four-year-old Chihuahua named Poncho also lives in luxurious quarters his dog mom had especially designed for him. She had a house built beneath a stairway just for Poncho’s privacy. Being a Chihuahua, Poncho gets a little nervous around large crowds of people, so his private Harry Potter-style bedroom under the stairs is perfect for his personality. It features a fancy bed, a chest of drawers, a piano, and even an oil painting. Nothing is too good for Poncho. “He thinks he deserves it all, so I guess it’s okay,” says Poncho’s mom. Eggnog and Igloo are two Bulldogs who don’t have to go far to find fun and relaxation. They live under their parent’s bed in some pretty fancy and creative digs.
