Page 70 2021 Logan County Fair Lincoln Daily News July/August 2021 Kurtz addressed the group, as did Logan County native Senator Sally Turner and Lincoln Mayor Tracy Welch. On hand were some of the 2021 queen candidates. Turner recalled that it was possibly in 1978 that she was a contestant and won Miss Congeniality. Also in attendance were the Logan County Tourism Bureau Executive Director Alice Roate and Administrative Assistant Cindy Smith, and Lincoln Rural Fire Protection District members. Roate, new to her position, assisted Lincoln Daily News’ Karen Hargis in holding the ribbon for the cut. When speakers were finished, it was time to cut the ribbon on the 2021 Logan County Fair.
