Bob Duvall says,” If you could pick one hero in this town it would be Scott Brown!” Duvall says he has known Scott Brown since 1982. He was one of Brown’s first students in Tae Kwon Do, and took lessons from Brown for three to four years. After that Duvall and Brown always remained close friends. “A great deal of respect was developed in that classroom that lasted 40 years,” Duvall added. Duvall describes Scott Brown as a man of deep Christian faith, dedication and compassion. In his Tae Kwon Do classes he sought to bring out the best in people. Duvall says his own best traits came from his relationship with Brown, traits people didn’t even know existed until Scott brought them out. “He put his all into everything he did and passed on that trait to everyone he worked with,” Duvall said. Duvall said that Brown worked with many types of people, even the mentally challenged. Charles Nelson was one of Brown’s successes.
