Page 54 2018 Paint the Paper Pink Lincoln Daily News October 2018 L incoln Daily News received a surprise call recently from District 27 Superintendent Froebe saying he had a check to give us for the Friends and Family Relay for Life Team. Froebe explained that the staff and faculty throughout the district do a fundraiser each year for the American Cancer Society. Those who wish to wear blue jeans with their pink shirts to school donate a dollar for the privilege. The money is then given to the ACS. Froebe said that it was decided that because LDN is working to raise funds for Relay for Life, this year the money would be handed over to the paper’s team to submit. We send out our heartfelt thank you to Superintendent Froebe and all the faculty and staff of the District 27 elementary schools!
